IDC offers a full range of benefits to help you and your family protect your health and increase your financial security. This page will give you a sense of the options IDC employees can choose from. Human Resources will give you a more detailed benefit summary once you are hired.
Health and Wellness
Medical Insurance
We have partnered with United Healthcare to provide comprehensive medical insurance. Employees have two plans to choose from with the option of four levels of coverage.

Flexible Benefit Plan
IDC offers a Flexible Benefit Plan which allows you to pay for certain medical expenses using pretax dollars. There is also a Dependent Care Reimbursement option for eligible dependent care costs.

Dental Insurance
The company offers access to dental insurance for you and your dependents that is paid for by the employee.

Vision Insurance
This helps pay the cost of vision care for you and your enrolled dependents. It is paid for by the employee.

Financial Security
401K
IDC partners with you to save for retirement. The company will match 35% of any money you put in each year up to 8% of your wages. The IRS caps the amount that can be contributed each year.

Dream Check
This is an optional gift to all eligible employees. If the company has strong financial performance, a percentage of your salary will be added to your 401k. In previous years it has ranged from 3-6%.

Short-Term Disability
The company pays for Short-Term Disability coverage for all eligible employees. This will help reduce the financial loss if you have to be away from work due to illness or injury.

Long-Term Disability
The company provides Long-Term disability coverage for all eligible employees. This will help reduce the financial loss if you are away from work due to illness or injury for more than 90 days.

Basic Life and AD&D
The company pays for a life insurance benefit of $25,000. Employees can buy additional coverage for themselves, spouse or dependents at their expense.

Supplemental Insurances
The company offers you access to several optional insurance plans from AFLAC. HR will provide a list of the options. All of these services are paid for by the employee.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP offers a variety of counseling services to support employees and their families during difficult times. Many services are provided at no charge to you.

Employee Prescription Safety Glasses Program
Employees must wear safety glasses on the manufacturing floor. HR will provide details of the policy and plan during orientation.

Employee Purchase Program
Employees have the option to purchase products directly from various manufacturers at the company cost.

Education Assistance
The company offers tuition reimbursement for job-related continuing education based on grades. It also offers several training programs on-site and off-site.

Holiday
IDC offers 9 days of paid holiday each year. IDC also offers an additional day of PTO known as “Founder’s Day” which can be used at the employee’s discretion.

Vacation
Vacation balances are updated on January 1st of every year. New employees and first year employees will receive one week of vacation as of January 1st after their hire date.

Most benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
